    Is CDAClass.org a legitimate business?

    Yes we are. CDAClass.org was established in 2006 to meet the growing need for CDA classwork for active educators. We have instructed hundreds of child care professionals throughout the world toward the obtainment of the nationally recognized CDA credential. CDAClass.org’s corporate offices are located in Philadelphia, PA. CDAClass.org is a recognized training agency by the Council for Professional Recognition and the American Safety and Health Institute. Our organization is also approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to offer Act-48 credits for CDA and CDA renewal coursework. Our instructional team includes individuals with higher education degrees and a wealth of knowledge in the early childhood field. CDAClass.org’s president has been a Council for Professional Recognition council representative, a NAEYC validator and also was one of the NAEYC’s national governing board’s finalists in 2005.

 

    Who can take CDA renewal classwork with CDAClass.org?

    The typical student completing CDA renewal classwork with CDAClass.org has an active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and is looking to work toward maintaining this active status. The initial CDA credential is valid for three years and will need to be renewed at this time. After the first renewal there is a five year period between all other future renewals. CDAClass.org helps students complete the renewal application and provides all of the necessary assignments toward the obtainment of CDA renewal.


    What material is covered with CDAClass.org’s CDA renewal coursework?

    CDAClass.org’s CDA renewal coursework covers establishing productive relationships with families. This material includes; the importance of family-teacher partnerships, daily communication with families, parent meetings, classroom environments, curriculum and much more.
    Additionally, CDAClass.org’s CDA renewal coursework provides guidance on all of the steps to submitting your application to the Council for Professional Recognition for CDA renewal.     What is the timing for CDA renewal classes?

    Students will work approximately 45 hours on CDA renewal coursework completion. Participants can complete coursework in as little as one month. Participants have up to six months to complete CDA renewal coursework in its entirety. Students can log on to CDAClass.org and work toward coursework completion during the day, evening, weekends, and even holidays. As a new student enrolls with CDAClass.org this will be their official start date. All CDA renewal students have six months from the official start date to submit all needed materials for approval

    What are the costs associated with enrolling in CDA coursework?

    Tuition for the online CDA renewal program is listed on the application page at www.cdaclass.org/student/cda_renewal_student_application.php As with all college level coursework, students will be responsible for purchasing the class textbook for an approximate amount of $10-25 dollars during the first days of class. Additionally all students are to order the official CDA renewal application from the CDA Council, which currently costs $13.     What are the costs associated with submitting to the CDA Council at the end of the CDAClass.org’s CDA renewal training?

    All students need to apply to the CDA Council, in Washington D.C. for their renewal certificate. This fee is $50, which most states have either a scholarship and/or a reimbursement program in place so that participants do not have to pay for this item.


    Is there any assistance with paying for CDA renewal coursework?

    How long does it take to become a Child Development Associate (i.e. obtain the CDA credential)?

    Our coursework of 45 hours of training takes approximately one to six months. After concluding our coursework students will submit their materials to the CDA Council for a Council Representative to process their application materials. The CDA council takes approximately 1-2 months to assess CDA renewal candidates application materials

    What if I am not happy with CDAClass.org and the renewal program?

    Participants in our program are truly happy with the quality online services that we provide. Please check our testimonials page to read what some of our students have said about CDAClass.org. If you joined CDAClass.org and were not happy with our online program you can withdraw from classes, within your first two days with CDAClass.org, by simply emailing admin@CDAClass.org and requesting a refund. We will promptly process your request and ensure you receive a refund for the tuition costs.
