Ice Cold Craft!

The past few weeks have been scorching on the East coast, and it has inspired me to look into some ‘refreshing’ craft ideas! It didn’t take long to find the super cute craft below from Pitter Patter Art. As always, you may need to upgrade or downgrade the craft depending on the age group you work with, but the materials are as follows;

large paper sheets (various colors), square sponge, white paint, glue, straws, and yellow paper to make lemons.

This craft would also lend well to making lemonade with the children in your class and incorporate measuring into your lesson! If you follow the link to Pitter Patter Art, detailed instructions are provided, as well as other creative craft ideas!

How do you keep cool in the summer time while working with your kiddos?!
